I've used 2 in Leeds for conveyancing - Fox Hayes and Richard Ellis and Co. First ones were excellent, 2nd, utter rubbish. They've still not sorted all my paperwork (I've gone through a company relocation, so wanting to claim stamp duty / estate agents fees etc back) and I completed on 7th July

Try Shoosmiths - their Property Direct division in Northampton deal with all conveyancing stuff. You can even track your sale on line - you get a password and login and you can see exactly where you are at any given point in the process.

You can do all the forms and stuff through the post and their literature is written in a language even us mere mortals can understand! We've had an absolute mare of a time trying to move house - but have found them to be 100% reliable.

Pick one close to where you live or work. You can then take paperwork to /collect paperwork from them rather than posting it - saved us loads of time when we last sold.
