I was also down their the other night! Tried posting when i came back, had written my post out then my wireless d/c
I was sat in the garden having a bbq when i saw the smoke, an hour later it was getting worse, so thought it would be rude not to be nosey...Couldnt beleive that thousands more decided to be as inquisitive as me! Never seen so much traffic in CD!
Good pics. My dad is a firefighter at Long Eaton station and their wagon was the first on the scene.
Did you see the Electricity go!That was one awesome blue flash!

Heard on the local radio that A 21yr old local lad has been arrested in connection with it.
The destroyed building was a storage yard for pallets and they reckon there were 250,000 of them on site at the time

I thought it was a fuel when i first saw it, couldnt beleive the way it was spreading so quick! I really did think it was something more than wood the way it was going!
Didnt take long for 250,000 pallets to become ashes!

The misses works pretty much opposite, been having great fun getting to work all week. Wonder if Hill Hire will continue storing pallets in the open in future?
