Old Landie

Old Landie
I'm one of those nutters that goes climbing up big rocks in the middle of no where and am looking for someone to rent me their Landie..
I'll be camping and using it for off road. Not looking for a new one so long as its motorway able and works off road thats all that matters!
I'd use my own insurance and we'd draw up some kinda repair deal if I break it, but only if I break it, not covering it breaking down or out..
I know its a weird ask but anyone?
Wallasey based, not looking to travel too far..

Ask a local farmer, their usually pretty accomodating if the price is right! The other alternative, have a look for an old knacker in local garages and then flog it on when you're finished.

Landrovers hold their value incredibly well.
You will struggle to get a road-legal Defender for under £1500 - £2000
However, I have seen Discoveries for sale as low as £400 with some MOT but I would imagine they would be pretty knackered.

Defender. I spit on their graves.
Get an old Series vehicle and do it properly - and no, you can't borrow mine.
Try logging onto one of the Land Rover boards and you may find someone willing. Mud club etc...

Used to own one myself when I had the funds to run two cars...
