Any one into land rovers or off roading?
ive just got hold of some landys and want to get into off roading.
whats better for off road use 90 swb or 110 lwb for someone whos just starting out.
i have a few landys if anyones interested.

I'd say the 90's are best, less overhang and better manouverability. Approach and departure angles are better, too.
Whenever I've been off-roading most of the Landy's that go are 90's.
Wouldn't mind a cheap V8 one myself.

That Landrover looks like it had a mare Alistair was the bloke allright? Ive heard people keeping there windows open and getting there arms crushed and all sorts. Nice Jeep as well mate

The Landy driver was fine, but a bit shaken - it was a properly sorted vehicle with a full roll cage, harnesses & everything heavy inside strapped down.
Don't worry, it's not generally that risky - you needed a decent vehicle to get into that sort of situation in the first place - all round locking diffs etc. The problem was a lot of people had failed the hill climb and the resulting wheel spin had dug a hole - we had a couple of goes each, then he decided to try it a bit faster..... needless to say, I decided not to try again.

Owned a few Landies and my works vehicle is a Defender 110 TD5.
Go SWB everytime for off road work.
Currently have gone over to the dark side and drive a Jeep.
