I'd say the 90's are best, less overhang and better manouverability. Approach and departure angles are better, too.

Whenever I've been off-roading most of the Landy's that go are 90's.

Wouldn't mind a cheap V8 one myself.

The V8 ones are a nightmare though, my mate has just bought one with the BMW 6 pot engine and io have too say it is the most quite Landy i have ever heard and the engine on that will be bullet proof.

Heres mine anyway..

Mines a Jeep

As Zip says, the 90's are better than 110's because of the angles, so unless you need the extra space, that's the way to go.

Looks like a few of those you bought have earned their keep off road already....

The Landy driver was fine, but a bit shaken - it was a properly sorted vehicle with a full roll cage, harnesses & everything heavy inside strapped down.

Don't worry, it's not generally that risky - you needed a decent vehicle to get into that sort of situation in the first place - all round locking diffs etc. The problem was a lot of people had failed the hill climb and the resulting wheel spin had dug a hole - we had a couple of goes each, then he decided to try it a bit faster..... needless to say, I decided not to try again.

Owned a few Landies and my works vehicle is a Defender 110 TD5.

Go SWB everytime for off road work.

Currently have gone over to the dark side and drive a Jeep.

Cheers

I've been thinking about one of these myself, after going for a ride in a MY08 Defender.
The bolt on parts you can get for these are great.
