Ah well,cant win everything can we? Liverpool were hot again, getting themselves together...you dont just win all three cups as they did last year without playing your socks off...beat Barca etc etc. Personally, I think its about time we had some needle again in the league and had o fight for it. It was becoming to easy at one stage and now we are in the mixing pot. Should show whether we can get it together. I think Mike Phelan and Steve Bruce could get a game at the back now...blimey, what a load of laughs that its. Cant wait to see Arsenal SPANK seven bails of s**t out of us in the Worthit Cup on Wednesday. Just gets better! lol

Only thing to look forward to this winter is the rendition of "Feed the scousers, let them know its Christmas time" But the way its going, the returns of "Are you city in disguise" to us could well be justified and quiet quiet right! lol

Being a massive fan of Steve Bruce whilst at Utd I find it quite sad that he has p1ssed of to Brum so soon, surely he learnt about loyalty from Fergie, he does himself no favours just walking out after earlier saying he was staying put, but hey thats footy, the only loyalty in the game is us the supporters who constantly take it up the exit hole, funny old game, as some once said......

From what I have seen, he has said he is leaving Palace, but the Chairman, Simon Jordan, has refused to accept his resignation and Bruce is still bound by the terms of his contract, which include a significant notice period.

According to many reports today Simon Jordan has suspended Steve Bruce from first team affairs and has refused permission for Birmingham City to approach him and has further refused to enter into any discussion with Birmingham City regarding Steve Bruce.

Now, if Birmingham City decide to pursue the matter, I think that will constitute an illegal approach and Palace will be well within their rights to report the matter to the Football League (or is it the FA?).
