apart from pc world....do pc shops exist?
i want a new tablet laptop but cant find ANY shops that sell the bloody things?
is there a pc store anywhere with 1 hr of berkshire? seems its all done online nowadays...which is no good as i want to see/touch/feel/stroke my item before purchase!

I suspect you'll find a number of small independants about if you look on www.yell.co.uk however, I'd still be tempted to buy it online as chances are you'll get it cheaper.

I think there is a small (very small) shop in Wokingham, on Broad Street. Walked past it a few times on the way to the station, but never looked in, so I could be wrong - they may well concentrate more on repairs etc than sales.
Edited to add that I was right - it is just repairs rather than sales - sorry!

There are a few computer shops scattered around, but as above I would recommend Tottenham Court Road.
If you actually decide to buy from there, make sure you know the rough going rate for the item you wish to purchase as their 'sticker price' is stupidly high and bargaining is the norm.
