Midge Magnet
With summer approaching, so are the flying biting things.
Someone has mentioned a midge magenet, said they're good at getting rid of midgies/mozzies etc.
Anyone have any experience of these or similar gadgets?
They love biting me the *****! Don't want to scratch all summer again...

Check above....
Some scientists are claiming that the Avon products (skin so soft) have a chemical in them that repels midges. Tried it last year and it was as good (if not slightly better)
Left your hands feeling oh so smooth too

Anyone have or seen anyone of these (expensive) gadgets??
I'd ideally like to hire one, but will buy if good.
(Prefer to spend the money on whiteline goodies for the scoob, but i got bitten maybe 10 times the w/end and have started to remember last summers itching)

Thanks for the links. At £400-1200 it would be nice to try-before-you-buy, or even hire one.
Let's see if we have another nice w/end this year
If anyone else has got one/tried one, let me know... (i'll let you'z get back to the "other" magenets.)

I got one of those florescent lights / lanterns that zaps then when they get attracted to it. Every few minutes, ZAP! and a faint whiff of fried midge/fly/etc.....very satisfying.
