Snakebite and Ribena - also known as a Pink Panther.
Never forget the days of wandering into bars aged 16, trying to look mature in our long overcoats and shades (wtf! it was the middle of winter!), ordering pints of Pink Panthers....makes you cringe now.
Still - the resurrection of said drink in the snowy wastes of suburbia on our return home always left a nice purple story for the residents come the morning....

I quite like the concoction somebody I used to work with came up with: Red Bull and smirnoff ice. Tastes just like sherbert, and you can't really taste the alcohol (even with several shots of vodka added for good measure)

When I were a lad - 'proper' snakebite was half of cider, half of lager and a shot of vodka ( this was mostly in biker pubs ) - they did stop serving it after a while though as I think it was too effective, and changed it to just cider and lager.
