Bought the new RHCP double album yesterday and think its the best they've ever done - even though I've only listened to "Jupiter" so far. The title track is a masterpiece.

If you're a fan go and buy it.

It's gonna take a little more listening to, but it's certainly not the best they've ever done IMO. Mind you not sure how you could top Blood Sugar Sex Magik, but I like their funkier, rockier stuff.

Got it all now, first 2 songs on Jupiter are pretty good, not in the mood to listen too it now though so will review it later.

That's a valid point, it was meant somewhat tongue in cheek, mainly as I don't think you can officialy download it until 8th May, though I could be wrong

I am a huge fan. Fantastic album so far (still on Jupiter).

RHCP have always been an "average" band to me and I have quite a few of their albums -- easy to listen to I guess but I have to be in the mood for them. By The Way, although it's still on my iPod didn't really strike a chord with me at all.

Having said that I don't suppose my current aural delights -- Shadows Fall, God Forbid and Tool -- are everyone's cup of tea !
