Really quick reply needed.

As a new driver (17, passed test 2 months ago), is there a limit to how many passenger you can carry in your vehicle, (obviously limited by the number of seats)

Not that im aware,all passengers must have seatbelt provisions though..

Only the number people that the car has seats/belts for and that they are belted in.

no not unless the law has changed in the last couple of days, BUT most accidents happen with young drivers when you have a car load of mates!

I had three passengers in a 5 seat car.

Not going into details or reasons why im asking now, just wanted an answer, thanks for your help.

Not as obvious as the question may appear. I had been (wrongly) informed that for the first year i was limited to a single passenger for being a male 17 year old driver. I now know this is not the case.

Hope this clears things up.

not completely true. my 1979 Cortina only has front seat belts but i can carry 3 passengers on the rear seat!
