Default Something for my wife to protect herself with?

Because of the business I run i constantly worry about my wife as she is only little (size 6) does anyone know of something legal(ish) that my wife can carry in her handbag that she will be able to either spray or similar on someone if needed ( i know mace etc as illegal but something that could do the same job)

Anyone have any ideas? or should i just try and stop worrying?

Hairspray in the eyes, is very painful.
And you can get small cans, fit nice in handags. I've got some and it's legal. A girl must do her hair now and then

**** rape alarms no one pays them any attention and in this day and age people will just walk on by anyway.

Get some pepper spray that looks like a form of makeup. Or a perdoanl panic button to notify you or someone.

a metal nail file that has the pointy end....great for stabbing in the eyes!

also never bite or cut finger nails too short as these are the best weapon of all.

also a big heavyish tub of moisturiser to help aid the swing of the handbag against the face

it all depends on the size of the handbag as to how many things you put in it

I'd go with the pepper spray. I managed to get some for my GF. She's worried about it being illegal, but last time I checked, rape, assault and murders were too. Don't think any criminal would then report a woman to the police after be sprayed.

Then when the attacker approaches she will have to ask them to wait five minutes until she has a root around in her handbag to decide what to use

I wouldn't follow any of the advice given

Is it worth your misses spraying something into the robbers eyes to protect your business property which is insured?

She sprays, he gets mad, he attacks her. Not worth it.

Had over the good and claim the insurance

Its not the business premises/vehicles/cars etc that I am worried about, its more the business I am involved in and some of the things I have to do (you never know whos watching)

Its more when shes out on her own, shopping etc etc

After being woken at about 3am with the police barging in to my bedroom I know not to attack intruders!!!!!

I am 5'7", can be 5'11" in my heels, but I still have my hairspray in my bag. Also a big bottle of perfume. Comes in handy to clout them with
