At work today outside my workshop in camberwell s.e london,saw 3 guys plus the driver jump out of a late fiesta run over to a young man who was pushing his scooter and proceed to smash it to bits with large chains with padlocks on the ends.The boy ran and his bike was smashed to bits.The good bit is the local gang of scooter boys have had this coming for along time riding on pavements and generally terrorising the local area.His bike was a mess and will never go back on the road,looks like they picked on the wrong people this time.JAY

When I wasin brixton recently I saw loads of people riding through the high street with full car stereo systems fitted into there 50cc scooters. Speakers and subs mounted (quite professionally) in the bit where your feet and legs go. Also had strobing neons, no L plates and some had no helmets!

they serviced it good and proper and if he hadnt run he would have been as well.they are always brave when they come to the workshop mob handed but on there own there just little boys,i hate the lot of them round there

Most of them ride about with no helmets if they are wearing one its just perched on top of there heads.The local police have told me they wont even chase them.I cant wait for one to fall off outside the workshop i wouldnt even **** on them if they were on fire

The ones I saw in brixton were all black/african/non white and looked to be selling drugs, (or they could of been handing out sweets to there friends?)

The day before I saw the "pimped" scooters someone was shot with a sub machine gun out side brockwell park and they were also on a scooter!
