do these modern effects not just look like cartoons?

maveric's communication with the mig was more realistic than ANY of the effects in this!

Ive made a point of not watching Stealth - looks like utter ****e and clearly is.

Typical yank political correctness too - they have a white pilot, a black one and a really fit bird. Im surprised they didnt have a disabled pilot too who was "just as good as the others" despite his disability

Its actually not that bad. If you consider its more believable that Star Wars, Superman or Ghostbusters and has top totty and modicum of plot twist and some seriously cheesy moments it kills 90mins just fine

noooooooooooo!

Its not more beliveable than those!

Starwars has no humans in the entire movie - they are aliens so can do what they like, superman is also an alien and Ghostbusters ....well they are ghosts. Now all you need to do for those flicks is belive in ghosts/aliens for the length of the film. Stealth is HUMANS though...humans that fly like superman, can fight the whole of north korea with one arm and an uzi, fly round the world in seconds without fuel, the list goes on (ohhh...and in the future ejection seats have replaced the single handle idea with a 2 minute procedure that involves flicking every switch in the cockpit!)

Yes, that was as a result of US malpractice lawsuits after accidental ejections - the pilot also has to sign an extensive disclaimer during the ejection procedure, did they not show that bit as well?

agree...and so i forgive the plane anything.

the humans are not forgiven (and it was too bloody long!.....they could have dumped that whole RandR in the waterfall rubbish which they used to shoehorn in the tacky love story)

I havn't seen it, though it sounds like the waterfall scene was a perfect place for Jessica Biel to wear as little as possible, so that scene gets my vote

the waterfall scene is a joke....without spoiling much - they arrive on ship, fly once then get given time off. Even the lead character says "but we only just got here".....the next 10 mins is then lead hunk and lead chick under a waterfall and jamie fox ******** a local.

i can see hot chicks in the gym and at least i get a workout at the same time! i dont want to give up 10mins of my movie life to crap like that!

i dont know what that means.....are normal films hetrosexual? (what do gay people watch?)

it has fast motorbikes, fast jets, war, pilot ***** his teacher and don simpson prob got through plenty of hookers while filming - all seems pretty un-gay to me.

ahhhh....but they play volleyball...must be gay!

sounds like the same people that are scared if they sit in a TT people will think they are a bit limp wristed.

i must be lucky as im confident enough in my hetrosexuality that i could drive a TT to a cinema, watch Top Gun in a pink shirt.....drive home and have a Baileys.

Of course i'm sure the REAL MEN wouldnt dare...no they would all be (without their women) gathered in a pub getting drunk together watching other men in shorts score goals and kiss each other
