Any kitchen appliance engineers?
Our dishwasher seems to have stopped dispensing rinse aid.
level indicator doesn't go down (even afer about 4 weeks) and doesn't go up after attempting to fill.
Dosing screw thing hasn't changed.
It's had a couple of cleaning cycles as well.
Is there anything I can poke, wiggle or kick before calling out a professional?

Ours stopped doing that about 6 weeks ago. Called out the engineer from Meile and he looked at it, shook his head and proclaimed it dead. Mind you, he did tell us that if we bought another Meile then they would refund the call out charge, so we bought another Meile, after all, the old one had put in over 10 years of active service. Washing dishes by hand for 4 weeks is something I'd rather forget!
Hope it isn't the same story for you.

Engineer Where's the degree?
If the dispenser is in the door, it's likely the wiring loom between the door and the main unit has frayed and broken internally (caused by door opening and closing over many cycles). Other than that, it's either a blockage in teh tubes for teh dispenser, the main controller is foobarred or the solonoid that actuates the dispenser is broke or stuck.

Thanks for the replies peeps.
Because the thing doesn't fill, I'm moving towards blockage but don't want to poke about too much.
Don't see the problem with saying engineer? It has nothing to do with having a degree or not and having spent several years working in a university, I could identify many hundreds of people with degrees that I wouldn't trust to post a letter never mind look at my dishwasher.
Computer engineer?
Heating engineer?
TV engineer?
It's also quicker to write than "repair operative".

And a degree only says that someone is willing and capable of learning, doesent mean you have a gram of common-sense..
Anyway, this isnt getting your washer fixed, good luck with it...
