well over the past few days I've tried the usual 1234 etc and none of these have worked so I'll try the card digits and see what happens.

Our Sky+ box requires you to input the pin to watch something that's been recorded on a manual record, i.e. when I have to set the box to manually record at least 3 hours of Eurosport in order to catch half hours worth of the WRC due to their inability to show anything at the time stated in the Sky guide. The pin is the last four digits on the card.

Films which are graded 18 (I think!) are PIN protected. Not only that but some other really daft rules are being applied -- for instance I recorded "Rory Gallagher - Genius" and I have to put in a PIN code to watch the semi-biography of the great man and there's not a swear word anywhere to be had, no naked wimmin, and no gratuitous violence so what gives?

No **** from sky required with an 8 meg broadband connection.

Some stuff I've recorded needs a PIN, it's weird Green Wing for example - 1 episode is asking for the PIN, the rest are fine.
