WOW, we must have just stopped watching this at exactly the same time. I litterally turned off the DVD 3 minutes ago with the same impression. In fact, I'm so gobsmacked I'm starting another thread because of it - watch this space.

I wasnt sure but 5 mins reading threads on IMDB about "wasnt this movie unrealistic" and "why didnt he drive a better car".....and i realise i loved it

in fact...the bomb/crane/james bond spinning car jump trick is now my scene of the year and i'll tell you why...spoiler alert !!!!






when he drives of the obvious is to jump out...........you are sat thinking....come on then, jump....we know you are going to.....but he doesnt and does something that...no matter how stupid, you have to admit you didnt see coming unless you are 5 years old........it was like the scene at the end of matrix when he starts dodging bullets and bend time........whoooooo there go all the rules!

That was the bit that killed it for me. I was willing to forgive it the slightly overdone action until that point, but after that I couldnt.

Sort of film that Nova-driving rude-boys probably think is the 'best film ever'

Not seen the second one but I thought the first one was absolute bollocks, might have to rent this just to see if it is as bad or worse!
