What shall I get for my birthday?
My Birthday in a couple of weeks and my lovely wife is hassling me for what I want. Trouble is I don't know.
I have a ps2, xbox, pc, peripherals, psp, digi camera, surroud sound and everything i want for my scoob.
I want something entertaining, more than useful and I don't want it be an event or an xbox 360.

I'll second this recommendation. I'm deciding which one I might get tomorrow....and its not even my birthday!
Knowing me I 'll probably come home with an R/C helicopter or something though.
How about an r/c helicopter....a lot fun digging these things out of your local flying field!
ooops, posted this before I saw your 'rc is dull' comment. In that case as you already have lots of stuff how about a dontation to a childrens ICU ward or something.

If you've got all the material posessions you need, why not give the money-equivalent to a worthy cause (children's charity?) and bask in the glory of your generosity until your birthday comes around again?
It's a great pub story if you're that way inclined and it'll make you feel good for quite a while too.
Just a thought.

Don't 'end up' getting those items then..do you still frequently use your other gadgets?
Buying a baby ward something they need (or whatever charity you like) will mean so much to them in comparison to 'ending up with an xbox 360' for you.
You know really quick nitro or petrol rc cars/helis are a lot of fun.

You sound like a lazy spoilt brat.
How about thinking of something you and the missus would both enjoy doing... oh right you don't 'do' events, it involves getting off your backside and besides, you want it all served up on a platter!

I'm 31 been working (hard) for 14 years and have got a few gadgets for b'days / xmas over the past few years.
I am not lazy, spoiled or a brat and to assume so means, I'm afraid, that you sir, are a pr1ck
me and the mrs do things together but this is MY f'in birthday.
p.s. I have an aquarium, the only watch i want is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to expensive, I don't have time for a dog and I'm allergic to cats

you have to admit, that bar the xbox360 which seems to be a fallback, you don't seem to be very open minded about the 'something different' you asked for feedback for in the first place.

Can't imagine how I formed that 'assumption'....
Well why don't you ask the wife to buy you the ******* moon on a stick then? After all, it's YOUR f'in birthday.....
