If it's primarily beef, I'd probably keep it 7-10 days at a push. The more pork you have in it, the lower the max time.

You can probably eat it without it killing you for a good few days beyond when it will still taste half reasonable. If it's an off the shelf jobbie, it probably never tasted reasonable and should just be dumped in the bin.

Personally I wouldn't keep it for more than 24 hours, but that's just me.

I would say a couple of days is ok after that i think that a case of the wet-bum-spurties could be on the cards!, reheat it well, i would nuke it then finish it in the oven.

I dug the Quadrilogy out the other day - watched all the director's cuts editions. That's one hell of a box set.

If keeping your food hot for a while then if you reheat it for 5 mins above 63c it will be OK.

But you'd be better off heating it to 70 for 2mins or more to be sure.

Buy a digital food thermometer if your not too sure.

It is really a trilogy as i do not count the third film as it was uberpants.

Aliens still looks fresh even today and even though i must have seen it 40+ times i still really enjoy it.
I watched the directors cut with the cast v/o and it was not at all bad.

Now 'Get away from her you bitch!'

Could be lasagne but my personal favorite for watching the best si-fi film ever would be Chicken Dhansak
