HELP, Name that (1970's) toy
Ok,
I am with my young Cousin tonight talking about toys. I start to describe one that I remember that a long since forgotten friend had. I will describe it, but please, can someone help me with the name.
Right, first of all there's a 'tower' which is battery powered, there are maybe 20-30 ball bearings which rise to the top of the tower, they fall off, they bounce across three 'drums' and end up in a container at the end, the ball bearings then run along a gutter back to the tower where it repeats the above. All the componants sit on a mat which makes sure everything is in the correct place
Now, can anyone assist?
Ta

OK Then - I had a toy late 70's - it had little yellow moulded plastic parchutes with small ball-bearings in the bottom as weights - you wound up this big rotating disc with a map on it on the bottom, then looking through a sight over the top (a la bomb sight) you had to pull a trigger to 'drop' all the parachutes into target holes on the rotating map.....i *think* it was called 'Chutes Away', but could have made that up over the years!
My younger brother gave it away to a mate in return for a harmonica, and never saw it again - I never forgave him. We had hours of fun playing that game and would buy it today for any money if I ever saw it in a charity shop etc.
