Advice for new Teacher?
My girlfriend is going to go in to teaching (French and Spannish at High School).
She has applied for a PGCE course and her application interview is this week. She's stressing a bit about what the interview will be like and what they'll ask her.
Can any teachers here offer some advice?

as long as she's reasonably personable and confident (obviously with the required qualifications) then she should be fine, its after she's been accepted and you have to do the first 'in school' practicals that creates the real stress, then if she passes, its a bit of a lottery as to whether of not her location of choice is under/over subscribed for the subject she's qualified in.
BTW wish her good luck.

My GF is half way+ through hers, she was a software developer before and apart from the drastic drop in salary she is really enjoying it. She is doing Maths.

Tell her not to do it!! Underpaid & overworked!! My missus has worked 4 out of 5 week nights till 11pm and one day over the weekend!! ever since I have known her!!
on a brighter side - bear in mind that there generally aint enough teachers to go around!
