Can a SIM be cloned for use in 2 phones ?
I have started using a Sony P800 for business use, which is great with the PDA-like features, but the thing is so bloody bulky. To save the hassle of swapping the SIM between that and my little Samsung which fits neatly in my pocket for social use, can I get my SIM card replicated ?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Contrary to what above says, yes they can- but you have to get the stuff from hong kong.

or

Simple as that.
Mainly sold so people can combine several numbers onto one card to save switching cards, you can also just clone the one card on the supplied blank.

Thanks Freak, looks interesting. Shame it's PC based but I'll get over it. May well give that a try, as if you can put 16 SIM detail in I will be able to put my partners SIM onto it as well and use her credit

They only seem to work on phase 1 SIM cards.
The newer SIMs are a nightmare when trying to crack Ki.... as I mentioned - it CAN be done, but it's not an easy task.

Why dont you put a call divert on the number you DONT want to use?
Leave your bulky phone at home and forward calls. Also withhold the number on your slim phone. Not ideal, but shall do the job?
also cut your contract down on the bulkly phone.
Alternitvely stop being a 'girl' and carry a man size bag to carry mens phones

I don't have 2 SIM's, just one currently on PAYG but the new P800 is to use for business when I qualify and start teaching driving. At that point I'll sign up for a contract, but until then my usage doesn't justify a monthly tariff. Just wanted the convenience of being able to pick up the most suitable phone without having to pop off batteries and fiddle with SIM's each time. A shoulder holster has been suggested for the housebrick
