That's the famous Cat and Fiddle pub on the horizon.

It's actually in Cheshire but it's very near the Derbyshire border. I was probably standing in Derbyshire when I took the photo. And, yes, it is the one where bikers go at the weekends to get done for speeding.
BTW sara, it's OK about the door. Nobody was in the car and it wasn't moving.

The "weird stone things" might be The Roaches.
I wasn't worrying about anyone breaking in; I turned it off and put the keys in my pocket before I took the photo.

- gosh, brings back memories; haven't been over that road in over 40 years (gulp !!!) - quite a challenging road for 5 up in a Ford Prefect.

It's not obvious in the second photo, but there is a Renault driver thinking "With 2 wheel drive, I really shouldn't be here" as he was towed backwards by the Land Rover....
