I've been to see a couple of mortgage brokers, both of whom have recomended the self cert BM Solutions mortgage at 5.45% fixed for 2 years, no tie ins, 500gbp booking fee...which I am agreeable with.....both brokers want a fee of #600 to arrange the mortgage....

Now my question is, cant I just approachj BM solutions directly myself, and arrange it wuthout the middleman, or do I HAVE to go through a broker?....

Also, can anyone who works with mortgages tell me about any other good self cert options.....please pm me for details of my situation .

Many mortgages you can arrange direct with the lenders, a few require a broker. The best way to find out is to check with the company in question.
