Question How safe is Worldpay?

I've now found something I've been after at a price I like on flat4online but I have to send payment over the t'interweb via worldpay. Just how safe and secure is it to use? I'll be using a debit card instead of a credit card so I don't want my details ripped off.

Thanks

Don't worry mate -- WorldPay is completely kosher. I've used them for many years as both a customer and supplier without any issues, ever. They're part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group.

Worldpay is just a intermediary (sp?) basically they process your card details and authorise the payment. The person you are paying wont see your card details only worldpay do.

Most big compnays will probably use them as well but they hide the logos etc

Yeah they're secure, Halifax use them for credit card payments from their website.
