Default Ah, hunting in Texas.......

Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shot a member of his quail hunting party in the face, neck and chest!

Makes you feel very safe knowing anybody can get hold of a firearm here! I was warned to be careful at midnight on New Years as the rednecks let their pistols off!

Never understood that term. What's friendly about firing on your mates?

To quote the ranch owner.............

This is something that happens from time to time - you know, I've been peppered pretty well myself

I think, unlike the bullet having your name on it, it has the words "Hey pal, how's it going? Haven't seen you for ages ", etc

I guess in truth shotgun fire is friendlier since no particular pellet has your name on it...

That sounds like a statement from the defence. I'm sorry your honour but I didn't intend to pepper the the victim, it was the pellets fault.
