And the film is coming out with Colin Farrell as Crockett and Jamie Foxx as Tubbs. Saw the trailer at the cinema last night - looks well worth a watch.

Just finished watching season 1 on DVD, all 8 discs of it!
It's taken me 20 years to realise but they never ever shot the bad guys with the intention of wounding - they always shot to kill! And why was it that Crocketts gun sounded like a bloody cannon, twice as loud as every other gun!

I used to like Miami Vice. Sadly being extremely young and impressionable, I seem to remember having brushed back hair, wearing white jackets and those kung-fu type shoes with no socks. Cringing just thinking about it!
