Hello

Yes you can, but it is convoluted (into London, across by tube and out again).

Even if you pay a fortune to get the Heathrown Express and the Gatwick Express, the HE takes you in to Kings Cross but the GE leaves from Victoria.

Coach probably 45min-1hr.

The heathrow express goes to Paddington doesn't it.

15 (read 20) minutes to Paddington, 20 minutes to get to Victoria (bear in mind you have, I assume, luggage) then wait 10 minutes for train. Then 30 minutes to Gatwick. It'll take you, in all, an hour and 15 minutes easily. The coach will take less time, be easy, cheaper, comfy(ish) and stress free. No way would I consider the cross london route.

You might be able to get a cab for a reasonable price. I bet they have to shuffle between heathrow and gatwick quite often

Once upon a time you could. A helicopter shuttle service used to run between the two airports.

No train even heads in the direction of Gatwick from Heathrow!

£19.50 on the airport coach, direct from Heathrow to Gatwick and back, or via London Victoria for around £6
