how come anything thats indigenous to our incumbent faiths, is taboo,
but every faith thats brought in so to speak, must be embraced and accepted.
thats the word they all need to understand, acceptance. we accept your faith,s and beliefs, you accept ours.
we have opened our doors to you, if you choose not to accept our ways traditions and beliefs, then please find someone else to take you in

Jehovah's witnesses are an odd crew. They don't celebrate Christmas, but they do celebrate Easter.
But it's a bun, FFS! And hardly anyone pays attention to the significance of the cross motif.
On the other hand, what if the motif were a swastika?

I think we should all call this Tina - sounds like she should be educated, not anybody else!
I'm happy here - it's a Christian country - we should be the ones trying to fit in - not the other way around !!! Fecking crazy!!
ON the other hand tho - I do think this country is getting worse with the chav-culture and the people who insist on going out of their way to screw people over. Went to mainland Europe and it's amazing just how chilled out people over there are - this country is too cut and thrust!
Making plans to move abroad for 6 months and only live here half the year. Then I'll be able to escape when need be

99.9% of JW's wouldnt be bothered by it..... if it was an issue, they'd merely ask for their child to be given an alternative to the HCB.
i have family members who are JW, and they would just respectfully ask for thier child to either sit it out, or be given something else.....they certainly wouldnt kick off over it. (when i was younger i chose to learn about them, rather than slag them off aimlessly)
You get the odd one or two who are OTT, and thats the minority of them, so i think The so called preacher, is probably speaking for himself...either that, or is relatively new, and still trys to do things to the letter, rather than being reasonable.
(Just for the record, JW's dont celebrate Easter - they have a celebration meeting which they call 'the Memorial' which they use to respect the life of JC - this meeting takes place on the evening of the first full moon before Easter, (nisan 14th - jewish calendar) which is supposed the be the evening of the last supper, when JC said, do this in remembrance of me.) this is the only official celebration in the JW calendar.)
