Thumbs up

Have to say this seems to be the norm for response to NTLs service now. Luckily I signed up to NTL a couple of years ago when they actually cared about their customers.

I'm dreading actually trying to get the account changed when I move house as my girlfriends brother tried (unsuccessfully) for 7 hours of different phone calls to get his address changed and the service moved. He still has no NTL service at his new house and still receives regular bills from his old address for a service he no longer has. It's going to be sky digital for the TV and BT for the phone.

Having had appalling service from NTL in the past, I can empathise with this letter. They really are that poor. I wish I could be as eloquent (and funny ) when complaining...

Cool

The best bit is the second part where all you have to do is change the name of the company and it becomes a generic complaint letter!!

Unhappy

NTL posted a flyer through my door two weeks ago telling me to call.... to get broadband set up. Great - I've been waiting on this moment for ages. Checked the website to get availability confirmed. OK. Took about 6 hours worth of calls to find out that they won't be in my area for another two years. why bother with the flyers and the website.

Another one here who reckons NTL are absolute pants. The letter is 100% true and their customer service is the lowest I have ever encountered anywhere. Speaking from plenty of experience and listening to that bloody hold music.......

a friend works in HR for NTL. She forwarded the letter on to me, but wouldn't say if it was real.

I'd say not if it's on the net. Someone would be in serious trouble if they published a complaint letter!!!
