Danes upset Islam bigtime

Newspapers across Europe have reprinted caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad to show support for a Danish paper whose cartoons have sparked Muslim outrage.
Seven publications in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Spain all carried some of the drawings.
Their publication in Denmark led Arab nations to protest. Islamic tradition bans depictions of the Prophet.
The owner of one of the papers to reprint - France Soir - has now sacked its managing editor over the matter.
The cartoons have sparked diplomatic sanctions and death threats in some Arab nations, while media watchdogs have defended publication of the images in the name of press freedom.
Reporters Without Borders said the reaction in the Arab world "betrays a lack of understanding" of press freedom as "an essential accomplishment of democracy."
Maybe soon Monty Python will be able to make "Life of Mohammed"

One of the cartoons shows Muhammad wearing a bomb-shaped turban.
In another he tells dead suicide bombers that he has run out of virgins with which to reward them.

The editor of a French newspaper that printed cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad has been sacked.
Jacques Lefranc was dismissed by the owner of France Soir, as his paper became embroiled in a developing row between Muslims and the European press.
France Soir owner Raymond Lakah, a French Egyptian, said in a statement to AFP news agency that he "decided to remove Jacques Lefranc as managing director of the publication as a powerful sign of respect for the intimate beliefs and convictions of every individual".
Tolerance is a wonderful thing, n'est-ce pas?

Its hardly surprising that the Muslims are upset at cartoons of Muhammed. It shows disrespect and naturally enough that is important to them. Very unwise to do that in my opinion.

I also would have no time for any supporters of a religion who advocate violence as you say. That does not mean the the actual religion itself is recommending such action, it is purely down to people for their own ends.
If you look into it you will find that religions do not include such actions in their required way of living your life.

Im not anti any thing with regards to race, religion etc. The true trouble makers are people do not seem to understand the true situation. The violent 'brain-washed-muslims' are merely fueling the chance for Western governments to gain greater control of oil.
If you study the OPEC shocks of the 1970-1990, gues what followed-the Gulf war.
