Stick that in ya pipe Blair... LOL
right so technically how can it be one rule for one and another for everyone else. 3am in the morning if I was racing down the A1(M) nr Peterborough what would I expect? Probably to be shafted by Raymond in Strangeways for a couple of months at least.

Just goes to show that the "Dangerous driving" tag is too easily used by the police. Anything over 70mph, and the scream "Dangerous Driving". I saw a interview years ago with a copper saying that "People who do over 70mph on a motorway can't see past their bonnet" ??????????? **** !

Doesnt say what he got. Obviously the Judge has overuled the Dangerous Driving charge but he probably still got done for speeding. Wonder if he took a ban or anything else????

'Finally a judge with some sense! One whom realises that the speed in itself does not constitute dangerous driving.'
150 is taking the p1ss somewhat, I wouldnt want everybody know I had been driving a Boxster either, I would drop the journos a few quid to say it was a Saab.

No I do agree with Jacko, 150 is taking the pee somewhat, maybe even 120 is pushing the road use. forget what the car is capable of doing, with an inexperienced 21yr old behind the wheel at 150 then its pushing any boundaries.

Isnt a Boxster flat out at that, maybe the cars is well within its capabilities but is the driver, I wouldnt trust myself to drive at that speed on a public road, too many variables, I should imagine getting a Boxster to 150 would take quite a bit of determination and a fair distance, i.e. you cant claim it just whipped up there like perhaps a 911 Turbo would.

80mph faster than 70 is.
The judge presiding is sending out a crappy message with this ruling. If I got stopped at those speeds, Id expect all manner of bad things. And rightly so tbh.

Cant believe what that judge said. There is no way that anyone can justify a 3 figure speed on a public road whether it was clear or not. 150 mph is way out of sight in that respect, At the very least it is totally illegal let alone the possible risks involved to others.
