Default Bird in my scoop...

Hit a bird on the way to work - it just flew out of the hedgerow at bonnet level. I thought it had gone over the roof, but when I got to work I discovered that was just the wings - the rest of it was cooked on the intercooler. Not very pleasant...

We've pulled a few out of the front grill before now. They should look where they're going.

Had a pheasant through the grill on the Xantia at *cough* the national speed limit *cough* about a year ago.

At the weekend, I took the o/s headlight out to repair it as the rear was cracked at the tab that bolts it in place, and lo and behold, one pheasant haunch, done to a turn, stuck tio the radiator

Hit a pheasant in the landrover last year, took its head off as it looked at us approaching...... then bump bump and splat...... the rest of it covered the windscreen of the scooby behind us
