Correcting HPI data
Can HPI data be corrected? Anyone know how I can go about this?
A family member has a private reg & this has been on several cars over the past 5 years. Recently when the car was changed again, several garages ran an HPI check (the old car was going to be traded in), and the HPI cheks all came back with a car that they had several years ago (& 2 cars ago).
It would be good to get this updated, any ideas???

Sort of, if it's in error. My old BMW came up as a write off when I tried to sell it. Turns out it was one with a similar registration to mine that had been entered incorrectly into the database with my registration .
I rang up the company I was insured with at the time the car was allegedly written off and asked what the hell was going on. They were able to sort it for me
