<sigh>.....Its a USA series and they are listed in Seasons.....therefore the last episode is called the 'Season Finale'. For example, go to Play.com - Lost "SEASON" one
But hey, call it what you ruddy like...

boxst - I've just come back in from the bar - and realised that I've missed it (it's 10:40pm in NY).... will have to wait and catch it on DivX from alt.somethingorother. Damn.
I'd been looking forward to this one for a while - and getting bored of waiting whilst all the reruns aired over Christmas.
Now just have to wait for Prison Break to start again in March and I'm sorted!
Shades
PS About 10C here in NY, which is RADICALLY different to what the normal temp in Jan is... (more like -10C). Played golf twice this week in glorious sunshine, with more to come... cool....!!!

Just missed it too, been in the bar too, I'm in LA.
If you want some spoilers about future episodes, go to www.abc.com and you can view some catch ups for the USA, they are a bit ahead episode wise.

I've watched 95% of the first series based on everyone hyping it up. It had bits where it almost got going, but unfortunately my interest has now gone the way of this program's name
I really wasn't fussed about watching the finale (as it's called ) but the missus wanted to, so I did and was as disappointed as the previous episodes
Still, the Americans like it

Well thought it was a bit of a let down to be honest. I did know that "the others" were after walt and not the baby, I thought that was fairly obvious to be honest.
Cant wait for series 2.

I watched the first couple of episodes, one or two in the middle and the last two. Glad I didn't sit though all of them.
With JJ Abrams claiming he has a possible 8 seasons in the pipeline and he hasn't decided how it's going to end I think the only people who are 'lost' are the script writers.
I'll come back to it in the final series, if it hasn't been cancelled by then.

That'd be 200 episodes?!?!!? We're only 25 down now!!!
3 Series' is do-able. Though 2 should do it.

Oooh so it'll be just like X Files and get (more) boring and lose it's way and interest to the masses so never be complete (as a series).
I did find it funny how they were so carefully putting the dynamite into the bags, the part with exploding man, then how they were running around the forest with the dynamite in their backpacks....shouldn't they all have blown up? It's not very realistic is it?

in the first episode of the 2nd season, you get to find out whats in the hatch almost straight away - then it focuses on that for a couple of episodes!!
theres another interesting epsiode in season 2 called "the other 48 days"

i loved the "Annoncement" Ch4 gave afterwards. "We apologise for the way the season ended. You want to know what the hell was going on? Well so do we so we're showing the next season in the spring"
