I'm stuck out on Statfjord C until Tuesday or Thursday. Was hoping to get off on Monday, but they've decided to sidetrack, so I'll have to get a crewchange sorted out.
Anyway they're setting cement plugs today, so feet up, surfing and eating too much.
Looking forward to 3 weeks off and hopefully a trip to the Alps.

I'm in the Cote D iviore or Ivory Coast - West Africa on the Espoir (French for Hope) Platform on standby while they skid the rig! That's taken 3 1/2 days and counting. They were meant to be ready for lunch time so I'm feeling a bit of Bah Hum Bug. What's worse is they sent a heap of expats into town for Xmas eve/Xmas day and Boxing day. So they are all partying in Abidjan.
No Espoir of me getting a beer today!
Never mind in btween surfing and sunbathing I spoke to my kids and got a tune from my daughter on her new guitar so that cheered me up! Have a good one and all the best for 2006!
