Angry Tiscali final warning

Are Tiscali on a customer purge??

less than 2 weeks after my so called fair user policy warnign, they have now sent me a final warning.

odd, given that bar 1/2 hr i have stayed within there policy terms.

i get the impression that they want to clear people off the lower tarrifs, and move tham agin to increased tarrifs.

anyone else on tiscali getting these ??

was on for over a year at 512 with no probs, now i am at 1.1 they are getting a*sey

wouldnt mind, but theve only started complaining after they!! upped my connection,

im with tiscali, they are absolute dogcrap, i wouldnt recommend them to anyone. I pay 15 quid for a 512 line, which in actual fact is a 133 line for the most part. my friend pays 15 quid for an 8meg line wil bulldog jus a few streets away. Iv caled em many a time, but jus keep gettin put through to india to some idiot who never fixes it. they jus keep sounding shocked that im only gettin 133, (think its part of the script "oh my gosh, really sir, thats terrible") no ****e cockbrain, jus do somethin about it. Id def leave em if they wernt gonna fleece me some more for leaving early.

no justice with isp's, complete rip off in this country.

Ive just posted in CR about them. Im sick of the service being down.

I cant seem to get more than 2mb so unsure who to change with for similar money.

they are gash

they upgraded me 1 month ago to the 2mb service (i think?) speeds never increased

sick to death of ringing the helpline so sum immigrant numpty can ask me if it is plugged in properly.

the last time i upgraded i had the same problem and it took about 2 weeks of pestering to get them to fix the problem at there end

i have written off tiscali as a loss and at the end of the contract i will not be with them ever again.

this is the connection i have at work for my office, its very rarely used (mainly when i am bored and have nothing to do) sometimes it takes hours to even have it connect??!!??

For speed, reliability and excellent customer service you'd be hard pushed to beat Zen ADSL.

Surprise surprise,

A customer announcement from tiscali, with immidiate effect...

peak hours are now 6pm-11pm on weekends,

not 12-4 as stated to me in two seperate emails...


cant wait for there reply to my email!!

Just shift ISP if they boot you off... I've been with pipex for years now, and recommend them. They're not the cheapest, but they do seem to understand networking and have a fairly good network.

I have also experienced how crap tiscali are. In the end I gave the old "your not providing the service as per contract etc" blah and they agreed if I sent them the modem (free) back I could stop my contract. Could be worth a try? It worked for me a year or so ago.

I am now with pipex and would deffo recommend. In fact if you go for them then tell them I sent you cause I will get a free month!
