Restaurant in/around Leatherhead
Hello
I'm looking to take a work colleague (and my children!) to somewhere around Leatherhead later. Any good steak places or any other recommendations?
Thanks,
Steve

If you like Curry then you cant fault Lal Akash in the High Street.
Thats about the only place in Leatherhead that I know about, there are several other resteraunts in the High Street but i cant vouch for them.

Hello
Thank you for your replies. I was looking for something more "steak" oriented and from Guildford to Dorking (if Leatherhead itself has nothing to offer). The Running Horses is probably the nicest restaurant around here but they are not open until 7pm.

The Fairmile is pretty good for kids ... on the cobham > esher road, or The Prince of Wales , past the fairmile and turn left opposite Claremont RHS gardens.
Food's better at the PoW

Percy Arms in Chilworth has a good reputation for steak etc. Not been there myself, but keep meaning to give it a go......

Hello
Thank you for your replies. After all that, ended up going to Caesars. Quite good "American" food (Steak, Chicken etc), not quite as "posh" as I wanted but my American colleague was fine.
As I mentioned above, without children and a little later this http://www.therunninghorses.co.uk/ is superb.
