Default Vodafone Mobiles, locked or not

Does anyone know if Vodafone mobiles are locked or unlocked to the network, or is there a way to tell?

Depends which vendor supplies it.

I know direct from Voda has the full lock down. i.e. You can't do anything, not even send a ringtone to yer mate kinda lock down.

Don't blame me if this ruines your phone (I'm not with Vodafone). I used this site and it worked fine for me.

As far as I am aware they are not locked. I am currently using a phone bought on contract from Vodafone direct which I now use on another network without problems.

I am on my 3rd vodaphone contract phone (P800/900/910i) and could/can use other sims in them at any time.

mine was locked on voda.

Sony K750i come with a copy of the software that is vodaphone specific, so would imagine these to be locked too

Voda Live branded = locked

non Live = unlocked.
