Default Motorola Mobile Phones

Am looking at changing my phone and a friend keeps warning me off motorolas saying they are fiddly and difficult to use.

Anyone with similar experiences?

I have had most makes of phones and my last 3 have been Motorolas.
Since my first Moto their operating system has improved a lot.
I have had the V635 for the last while and the V600 prior to that and highly recommend them.
It all comes down to personal pref. with things like this imo.

I have had a whole range of Phones from the Obscure to mainstream, for the past 4 years i have had motorola's, Now they have improved tremendously over the years, Current phone is a Razor.
It is all down to what you get use to, I now find Nokia's hard to use & i used to rate them as easy !!!!
Expect the phone to be different & don't compare it with a Nokia, They all do certain things better than there competitors.

My A1000 on 3 is utter crap - don't know if thats down the Symbian OS or just being a naff phone - suspect a bit of both. My sis had an E1000 for about 1 day and sent it back coz it was nasty too!

V3 is supposed to be ok though?!?!

Looking at a V635, currently use a samsung and texting on that is easy peasy even for an old'un like me.

Either that or a Sanyo S750 or a S750i

Since buying a Motorola Razr V3 a couple of months ago, I haven't looked back. I used to be fixed with Nokia and wouldn't change because I'd heard other makes were akward to use. Rubbish ! This is a doddle. It never leaves my side and in many cases, is MORE user friendly than my old phones.

G/f hads had a V500 and now a V3 rzr and both easy to use. Menus much better/easier and more logical than older Motos and now as good as if not better than Nokia's menu system

I have had many makes of phones and have had a Motorola for nearly a year and I love it, really easy to use and it has never let me down. When I upgrade next month I will definately be looking for another Motorola.

Agree wholeheartedly I've got a Nokia work phone, and a V3 as my personal phone, and the Nokia drives me mad, it's so illogical compared to the V3. Texting is a million times better on the V3, particularly for words that aren't in the phones dictionary The only thing I prefer on the Nokia is the memory - I can store hundreds of messages on that, and set up personal files - but the message capacity on the V3 is rubbish (about 50 or so?)

I've got a Motorola V3 and it's pretty easy to use, in fact it's far easier to work out how to use it without the manual than with as the manual is the most confusing and illogical document I've ever come across I'm a Sony Ericsson woman myself but I have to say the V3 comes pretty close to my Z1010 in terms of ease of use although I don't think the user interface is quite up there with Sony's yet.

I've changed my mind now. I'm interested in the Samsung D500. I was put off the razor as it doesn't have a built in modem which would be handy for the ipaq.
