Has anyone actually ever bought one of these ebay auctions? They are only a few quid but can't help but feel they are a skank. If anyone has bought one what do they send you in the email??

They send you the addresses to a few dodgy websites ( that are usually down most of the time ) that broadcast cable channels.

Of course they are a skank otherwise they could sell them for more than £3

My mate bought a CD at car boot, and despite the picture used on the front of the box, the CD was not worth a ****. Just a list of links.

As said it will just be a list of links you could probably find on google.

My mate had software which decoded the cable signal going to your house so you could watch any cable channels - this is maybe what the links are for. I expect the cable firms are onto this sort of thing by now however.
