Went to see Colin Fry the other evening
What a load of tosh.... He stood on that stage and totaly crashed and burned.
I as you can guess, i dont belive in the spirit medium malarky, but went with an open mind, cos you can just never tell. But please !! this guy stood on stage and just really struggled all night. After the show you could hear people all over the place, saying that it was terrible.
Have you been to see him ? or any one of the spirits mediums ?
What do you make of it all

My girlfriend and some of her family are going to see him tonight. Better not say anything to spoil it for her, I'll see what she thinks.
What's he meant to do at this event anyway? Does he blab on about his own experiences or start plucking people from the crowd and enlightening them?

A couple of questions here:
1. Was the theatre/etc full?
2. How much did each person pay?
3. How much of the take will HE get?
4. WAS his show a success? :

Me.......I'd like to see Derek Acorah(sp)...............and kick his nuts into tomorrow, the scouser thief.

Cold reading (occasionaly warm) done badly. If you want to see good cold reading, watch Derren Brown or a stage magician, they do it much better and don't feel the need to claim the spirits are in involved, they just show it off as a skill in it's own right.

Oh, he's very fake. Somebody has a web site running listing all the glaring mistakes he has made during his posessions due poor research. And as for the "Mary loves dick" fiasco, that was just done as a bet.

I went to see John Edward an American Pshycic medium in London Feb this year and had a great time. Im not sure why I'm posting because you lot will just rip the p**s and say its all made up and ballcocks like that, but I enjoyed it.
I've read his books and seen his tv show and had always said if I had the chance to see him I would go. There were no messages for me but I still feel it was worth my while going, an oppertunity I would not liked to have missed.

Sorry Wish, it was last night that my girlie went and saw him. The Wycombe swan theatre was packed out and it's quite a sizeable place, so he must be making a few quid from his tour!
She thought he was okay, and whether staged or not, managed to pinpoint people in the audience and pluck out a name of someone he had in the "spirit world" wanting to communicate with them.
She said it got rather boring in the 2nd half and said she wouldn't go to something like this again.
I just wonder how easy it must be to have plants in the audience to make him look good - even if he does have some ability I would have thought he'd have some sort of contigency in case he's cold on the night.

In light of "Most Haunted" admiting it's all faked, I thought I revive this!

Its all bollox, the clever guys like Derren Brown actually 'fake' being spiritualists and can do warm and cold reading, clairvoyants and the like all total rubbish, everything is so vague and most people are so desperate they cling on to even the remotest similarity.
