Exclamation Gross thing happened last night

One of the kids went to the toilet at 5.30 this morning - she couldn't reach the light so she called me to help - I jumped out of bed, took two steps and stepped on something slightly crunchy.... thought nothing about it, turned on the bathroom light, went back to bed - 2 minutes later she called again to get the light turned off - jumped out of bed, stepped on the crunchy thing and it went pop - turned on the bedroom light to see what the kids had left on the floor only to find one of those giant spiders firmly stuck to the bottom of my bare foot :barf:

Lucky my dog was'nt there - he would have had your foot off to get at the spider. He loves them. Paw lickin' good. You want to see him chasing them round the house

I poured myself a mug of milk to make milky coffee in the microwave. As the mug filled I thought something came out of the milk carton and drop into the mug

I took a spoon to fish out the *thing* and it was an enormous spider..sitting in the bowl of the spoon thrashing its legs over the side

<didn't come out of the carton..twas already in the cup.....WHICH I HAD HANDLED...>

The huge beetles you find in Spain make a huge satisfying crunch upon squishing (accident...honest). Best one is when they fly into walls or windows at full pelt. Your sitting there minding your own business and then hear a bang as if someone just shot a BB gun or thrown a stone at the wall/window. Get up to investigate only to find a kamakazee beetle

Went to Australia for a Holiday and the Wife went for an early morning swim.

The 10 year old daughter of our pals came and and asked her if she didn't mind sharing the pool with this

our cat eats flies too - very impressive watching him catch and eat in one movement
