Do you have net curtains?
Todays Quote.
"The growing trend to do away with net curtains is worrying police and insurers, the Independent reports.
They fear householders are asking for trouble by leaving valuable goods on display to tempt would-be burglars.
A survey by insurance firm NIG shows just 39% of us now have net curtains covering ground-floor windows.
One insurer tells the paper: "Taking down net curtains... does create a shop window for burglars deciding whether or not to break into a property"."

Someone must be buying them!
I have a share of a company that sells them and to be honest I know people hate buying them but it stops people looking in. All people want now are plain designs all the old frilly pikey nets have just about dispeared.

We have now fitted some rather fetching roller blinds.
Due to our house have huge fecking windows and everyone in the house getting too embrassed when I get up and wave at people who stare through them I get some quality reactions...most end up looking away all embarassed, but one bloke, who haven't a clue who he is regularly waves back and shouts "alright mate"
Quite right about the insurers getting iffy though. I do see well dodgy people walking past on occasions, who are obviously casing houses. Actually have two on camera from recent sightings because they were acting so out of place. Fecking hate this country - having to watch our own backs, it shouldn't be like this

Only in the bedroom now - for privacy. We're in an upstairs maisonette though, so pretty hard for people to peep in and case the joint. Unless they're awfully tall......
