Default Good time to be filling up your petrol tanks?

anybody been following the news about hurricane rita, got me thinking about the aftermath of katrina and how prices suddenly shot up overnight, this time i think it could be worse as the oil refinerys shut down by katrina still aren't back up again and now refinerys due to rita are having to close, so anybody thinking of filling up their tanks to last them a while???

To be totally honest, i couldnt really care

I get my fuel at a reduced rate anyways & dont really pay for it

My company makes enought money globally, so they can handle it

I take my fuel bill off my tax bill - price of fuel doesn't really matter - it works out as net zero overall. I wish it was 50 quid a gallon, so that self employed people could have the roads to themselves

I wish, I'll need my third fill-up in seven days tomorrow and that's at 450 to 500 miles per tank.

I have my car for work and our bigger car and motorhome for family outings. I only get in my car for work related stuff. If she needs petrol for her car she syphons it out of the lawnmower - 50 quid a gallon would be short term pain for long term gain - been thinkin of running the motorhome on chip fat, or maybe getting some signwriting on it and claiming it as a business expense
