Bloody Spiders
Why can't manufacturers invent spider proof door mirrors? No matter what you do, even after blasting with a jetwash, they're back the next day, spider web all over the mirror and on the doors! Anyone else have this problem?

My wife's Focus is exactly the same.
I tried as you said and give it a real good blasting with the jetwash but next day there's a huge web on the passenger side mirror and the passenger side front wheel arch
Little barstewards

You can't blame them... a car mirror is heaven for a spider.
1) A nice dry place to live
2) A nice secure structure to string a web across
3) A mirrored backdrop over which to place the web that is optically invisible to flies

So you'd built your home in a place subject to 70 mph winds every day or so?

I don't think their congnitive abilities extend to working out exactly what a car is when they see the perfect 'web site'
