sadly it wont make any difference i suspect, government spending is based on making huge amounts of money from raping motorists, they rub their hands together with glee every time the price goes up and hence so does their tax income!

surely when you bought an impreza you didn't think about fuel consumption. fuel prices will rise because demand exceeds supply, in a few years £1 a litre will be a distant memory
for commuting why not buy a more fuel efficient car?
we did, a 2001 six speed tiptronic merc turbo coupe it does 70mpg we've got 5 jerry cans of fuel in the garage enough for 2300miles while idiots are clogging up the fuel stations panic buying in a protest we are pootling round getting on with life

like i said before its all about the cash, when i bought the scoob fuel was reasonable but out here on the east coast its been extortionate for a while now but its still the cost of going to work as there are no jobs,as for the fuel efficient car?if i had the money to buy 1 i would but like i said i dont earn enough, ive had my scoob a year and it took along time to get it so i refuse to give it up!lifes a biyatch really!

Cycle, not only will it save you money on fuel but also 40 miles a day should quickly get you so buff that you can earn extra money posing for gay magazines, you will have a 22b in no time

Gordon Brown has ****ed up the taxes, and he is not going to reduce the tax burden on fuel, which is what would need to be done to reduce fuel prices in the short term. We are going to have to get used to these prices as Brown's polictical ambitions depend on him seeing out the next year or so, and he's in deep sh*t. Tax receipts are not rising as fast as forecast, and spending has leapt by huge amounts, the windfall of tax he will be getting for high fuel prices will help him avoid raising income tax or NI in the short term, and thus still enable him to challenge to be PM.
The self styled Iron Chancellor has fcuked it up so badly you'll scarcely believe it. Last tax year Apr2004 - Mar2005 the total defecit was circa £36bn, for the first four months only this year Apr05 - Jul05 the total is already £29bn, with the defecit in june alone over £13bn......Do your sums, he's screwed unless he can raise some extra cash, and loe and behold an angel in the form of high fuel prices has appeared. So chances of him lowering fuel duty, hmmm
Zip, Zero, Nought, show ball's chance in hell etc etc

Speeding - Haven't got a problem, don't be dangerous or reckless
Drinking - Haven't got a problem, just keep it safe (i.e 5 or 6 pints) and drive slowly and don't be reckless.
P.S I do not condone speeding or DD in any way.

They should increase fuel duty by enough of an amount to get all the plebs out of their cars. Crying because you can't afford to run a gas guzzler. Get something cheaper then idiot.
