Any ideas for a short term/temperary job?
My present job (welding) is really winding me up and is actually beginning to get me down.
Any ideas for something to tide me over for a bit??

It depends on the discipline....most decent fab shops will pay a cards in rate in excess of what say a cards in spark/pipe fitter/joiner will earn...
Have you ever been in a sheet metal shop...hideous places, all noise and welding flashes.
Marc..why not get coded up to the nines and get on with one of the big contractors like AMEC, or get into petrochem/TIGmeister etc..?

Chip, i never got the CAD job. Apparently no ones started either. Which is strange.
Pay isnt brilliant but its not too bad. £7.93 im currently on.
By the way, i hate welding/fabricating!!
