you dont see a driver in F1 pass 5 drivers an one go do you?

"Thing is he has fluffed quite a few starts but then you think well he's seventh but no worries 'cos he'll still win it.
you dont see a driver in F1 pass 5 drivers an one go do you?"
thats because its harder to stick a wide F1 car down the inside, far more difficult and technical to pass in an F1. Toca race drivers DO pass 5 drivers regulary in races, but not in one go.

Sorry mate, but that's complete bullsh!t, the reason it's so difficult to overtake in an F1 car is because the regs allow them to be so badly designed. Any car that stops working when it gets within 500m of the one in front of it is a piece of badly engineered sh!te
PS, When was the last time you saw the Sausage Jockey (the nearest F1 gets to a Rossi equivalent) get his car THAT far out of shape (twice )without sh!tting himself & crashing it?

I've been into bikes and watching bike racing since the late 50's and other than Hailwood this guy is just remarkable. A totally natural talent, so gifted. In some cases in the past its been the guy on the best bike, but not with Rossi, he could probably even win on a current MGP Suzuki

Fascinating race, I enjoyed every minute of it. Rossi is something apart from all the others. Those escapes from the "high sides" were down to his sheer natural ability to cope with them as soon as they start. Great race by Kenny Roberts, Barros and Edwards too.
It is very small minded to criticise the F1 drivers for the difficulty in overtaking. It is a totally different problem to find a gap past another car especially with the problems driving in dirty air close to another car. The FIA have at last held a national quiz from the fans about the changes they want to see and have contracted to follow most of those ideas when the regs. change in 2008. As stated the biggest problem stems from the aerodynamics. The driver aids will also be restricted constderably. I notice that traction control was being mentioned with respect to the 'bikes too.
Jenson Button pulled off a brilliant overtake on Schumacher at Hockenheim incidentally and Fisichella managed the same eventually on the final lap. Montoya got from 20th to 11th on the first lap and eventually finished second!
Even if you are totally biased towards 'bikes, it seems unecessary to criticise F1 that severely. It is the pinnacle of development in motor racing and at the moment is suffering from the engineers' own success in getting the maximum out of the cars inside the regulations. At least the FIA has finally recognised this and are doing something about it. Don't blame the drivers for conditions outside their control. They do the best they can.

They need to give the sport back to proper car engineers and tell all the wannabe aircraft engineers to **** off back to where they came from
Put some decent tyres on the cars, give them some proper power, and take the wings off, yes straight line speed will increase, but cornering speed will reduce correspondingly and late braking manoeuvres will no longer be affected by the guy in front's 'dirty air'. You'll soon start seeing how wide a racetrack can seem then

They don't call Rossi 'The Doctor' for nothing. Colin is doing great too. Only one point off second place in the championship now.
I for one pray that Rossi is not seduced into F1. What a truly dull and **** 'sport' that is, and what a loss to Moto GP it would be for the bike fans.
