Question I want to value a rare Bladerunner soundtrack. any ideas?

when it came out in '93, I bought a copy of
"Blade Runner 'Off-World' 1993 Limited Edition (bootleg - 2,000 numbered copies)". it's spotless, btw.

Somebody wants to buy it from me and I know it's valuable, but have no idea how much is a fair price.

Since I've looked, they haven't appeared on eBay and no one else seems to be selling their copy so i can guage a value.

where's a good place to get something like this valued? I'm in central london, so can go to a sci fi shop if there's one.

It's worth whatever somebody is prepared to pay for it. If you are not happy with that offer, don't sell. May not be quite what you are after, but in the absence of a yard stick, that's about all you can go on.

I appreciate the intent of your answer, but it doesn't really help.

I have a hunch that an original will sell for a couple of hundred quid, but can't find any corroborative information - it might just be an optimistic hunch!
If it's only worth 50 quid, i might as well keep it, but 200 is worth a little hassle to ship it.

The driver for selling is; a) I don't listen to it at all b) 200 quid's always handy

I'll have a look for sci fi coolectible shops on the net.

Quick google found this. http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache...+Edition&hl=en

No price but it sounds that to a real fan it would be worth a bit. £200 maybe?

Sounds like you have answered your own question really. List it on e-bay with a £200 starting price / reserve and see what happens.

more evidence it's worth a fair bit to the right collector.

Fosters, there was a CD trading shop in Notting Hill Gate, they have a number of stores, that do all kinds of CD's. also a book shop and clothes shop. but they, if memory serves me right, had some expensive CD's for sale and were quite reasonable if asked to value a CD.

edited to add they are called Notting Hill Exchange, stick it in google and you will get loads of hits.
