Why not see a doctor, its very easy to get a blood pressure test.
I have very low pressure but never feel dizzy,if that helps any.

I get it a bit as well and was given to believe the following:

In the UK they rarely treat low blood pressure unless it is a serious problem while in some other countries they do give you treatment. If you are feeling dizzy all the time then i guess it is a serious problem and as they can treat it in other countries i guess that medication is available. With this in mind it would be worth getting to see the doc.

I don't get any treatment but it really doesn't cause me any serious problems in normal life.

Does anyone know what the situation is about driving when it is causing you problems? I mean is there any chance wwp8 could go to the doc only to be told not to drive?

He hasn't said why he doesn't want to go to the doctor, but if low blood pressure is the cause then he won't be stopped from driving.

He might be told to use discretion due to the way he feels at the time.

Seriously fulltime low blood pressure wouldn't allow you to get out of bed anyway, let alone drive.

Nobody has their license revoked for flu after all so it really is down to the discretion of the license holder.

wwp8 - Do you feel worse after a pee?

Spoon 90/60 on a good day.

The average b/p is 120 over 80, most doctors surgeries will be more than happy to give you a test, age will play a part in it, the older you are, and your weight also, the higher it will be.

Tony

PS, im 110 over 70 and im 36, its been like this for years

the getting up bit id imagine is fairly average certainly for me anyway - sharp intake of breath and im fine.
feeling dizzy all the time could be inner ear problems......this would be a lot more worrying

Not forgetting a serious injury at any age can be a factor even if none of the above play a part.

Nothing to it. The doctor/nurse will stick a band on your arm, pump it up, let it down and tell you the score.

He/she will then tell you there are no tablets, cut out the wanking for a day and that he/she will see you again if you want to come back should it not improve.

If you want a cure for low blood pressure try eating a kilo of cheese a day covered in salt, followed by 2 gallons of cheap cider,a sack of Pork scratchings,6 big macs and half a dozen hand shandies.

Hypertension by xmas.

My blood pressure dropped considerably after the bypass operation and they always ask me if I get any symptoms like yours, which I luckily don't. Its about 115/80 which I understand is pretty good.

Certainly worth getting it checked out though, better its low than high anyway.
